I'm in a show at Roark Art Supplies in August. The theme of the show is "swimming pools",
so I decided to paint this picture of a motel pool in Desert Hot Springs.

This lemon tree is growing in our backyard, so I decided to do a painting of it.
This is just the first
stage for all of these paintings. I'll be adding layers of paint to them, adjusting hues and values for the next few months.
